WATCH: A Japanese passenger has come under fire for her 'abusive' behaviour on a China Airlines international flight during which she scolded flight attendants for not speaking to her in her native language.

FUKUOKA — A Japanese passenger has come under fire for her"abusive" behaviour on a China Airlines international flight during which she scolded flight attendants for not speaking to her in her native language.

"Do you speak only Chinese?" she asked in English, gesturing to the attendants."What are you doing? I'm Japanese here." The cabin manager can also be heard asking the Japanese woman to take her seat and calmly giving her multiple legal warnings in Mandarin. On Monday, a Twitter user going by the name of"Marizmful" came forward claiming that she was the woman in the video. She explained that she had been"trying to ask for a water and called a cabin attendant" but was ignored.

Some even accused her of"degrading Japan by pretending to be Japanese", pointing out that Marizmful's tweets in Japanese contained many spelling and grammatical errors.
