SINGAPORE - Two motorcyclists who were riding against the flow of traffic on the Seletar Expressway were stopped by police officers who were in the process of dealing with another motorcyclist who had been caught speeding.

There were 34 violations detected during the operation for offences such as speeding, using a mobile phone while driving and failing to obey to traffic lights. But fatal accidents involving motorcyclists increased 24.1 per cent to 36 in the first half of 2019 from 29 in the same period in 2018.
