SIA's cargo yields increased by close to 27% YOY for Q3 2022, which ended 31 December 2021.

Here are some highlights from corporate announcements and earnings events during the week.Singapore Airlines Limited, or SIA, gave an update on its cargo division, which has been the group’s leading revenue contributor since the onset of the pandemic.

Its cargo route network has more than tripled its number of destinations from just 26 in April 2020 to 97 as of 1 March 2022. The division has launched new initiatives to capture demand in other sectors, such as a new service to transport time-and-temperature sensitive perishables with speed and reliability.

The properties will be acquired at an average net operating income yield of 4% and will result in a 1.7% increase in distribution per unit assuming 100% debt is taken up.
