The Big Read: High time to talk about racism, but Singapore society ill-equipped after decades of treating it as tabooThe key issue is fear that the govt will penalise them and the media will misquote them and they cld lose their jobs or create an unsafe situation. Ie. There are forces making it a taboo topic. Some of us can ignore those forces and speak up, some let the hurt sink them.
