PARIS - Serena Williams finds it"weird" having to stay in a hotel during the French Open despite owning an apartment in Paris but the American is keeping a positive attitude as she continues her chase of a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam singles title.

"It has been really different for me staying at a hotel when I'm like, 'Oh, this is what we normally do'. I guess it's a must." "That's just how I feel. That's how I always feel. It is what it is. I'm happy that I can feel that way. I'm in a position in my career where I cannot be satisfied. I don't want to sit here and say, 'Oh, I'm happy'. Because I'm not."

Following the US Open, the American, who turned 39 on Saturday, travelled to her coach's academy in Nice and concentrated on training and rehabilitation.
