SINGAPORE — Presidential hopeful Tan Kin Lian said it was a “great relief” when he found out that he would be eligible to run for the presidency in the upcoming elections, but was disappointed to find out that his counterpart, entrepreneur George Goh, did not receive a certificate of eligibility.

Mr Tan Kin Lian was greatly relieved when he found out that he would be eligible to contest the presidency

However he was disappointed that entrepreneur George Goh did not qualify, as he thought that Mr Goh"worked very hard"He added that if elected, he would want to work to make housing affordable and jobs secure for young people
