This comes almost two weeks after he sustained injuries when the Tesla he was driving crashed into an electrical pole and caught on fire.

This was reported on Wednesday by 8world, following a screenshot of a conversation that made its rounds on Weibo. In the screenshot, Lin’s older brother shared that the singer was safe and thanked fans for their messages and prayers, while his younger brother shared that the singer had been transferred to the general ward as of Aug 1.

Lin’s older brother also added that the hospital was very strict with visitations due to the pandemic and that only one person could visit a patient at a time, hence he was not able to see Lin.crashed into an electrical pole at a road dividerAccording to a post on his official Facebook page, the 47-year-old Lin was driving at the time of the accident. The former pop idol suffered multiple injuries, including fractures, and was hospitalised in “relatively stable” condition at the time.

Lin’s wife, actress Kelly Chen, released a statement on Jul 24 in an attempt to quell rumours online regarding the cause of the accident. “As a wife and mother, I feel sad and encourage everyone not to believe unverified information,” she said.
