According to Focus Taiwan, there was a heated dispute over a reform bill between ruling and opposition party lawmakers.Lawmakers were said to have tackled and hit each other and the place descended into chaos, resulting in at least five parties injured.

One member of parliament, Guo Kuo Wen, was seen snatching the bill and making a mad dash for the exit to prevent it from being passed.He was likened to an American football player, with many wondering just how effective his actions would be since the documents could easily be reprinted. “He took matters into his own hands,” wrote one netizen, while another joked: “This guy should really be drafted into the National Football League”.
