The moves are largely symbolic given Taiwan's minimal levels of direct trade with Belarus or Russia.

Speaking to reporters in Taipei at an event to mark the founding of what would become the European Union, Wu said it was important to stand with others in denouncing the invasion and sanctioning both Russia and Belarus. No one wants computer chips?

Is 'Taiwan an independent country' that has been recognized by the world?

then have another 'winston churchill', asian version?

Republic of China (ROC) shld really try declare that mainland China has seceded from China since 1949 Oct 1 and thus ROC would now cease to claim any territories beyond its current de facto control and recognise PRC as 'West China' instead. This should solve everything perm.

I do not think the Taiwanese leaders are so idiotic as the western propaganda Reuter sources tried to make them out to be. What is the point of 'world sanction' when your country is in ruin ? Look at Ukraine today. Not that I believe China will harm Taiwan in any case.
