NEW YORK: South Korea's Ko Jin-young fired a two-under par 69 to seize a four-stroke lead after Saturday's third round of the LPGA Founders Cup.

Ko, who matched her LPGA career-low round with an opening 63, broke 70 for her 13th round in a row on Saturday, leaving her one shy of matching Annika Sorenstam's all-time LPGA record for consecutive rounds in the 60s. Ko answered a bogey at the ninth with a birdie at the 11th and birdied the par-5 15th to stretch her lead to four strokes, then parred her way to the clubhouse.

"It was very special for me," Saso said."It didn't really change my life but it feels good. It made me realize I have to focus more on what I have to do. I'm really thankful for that win."
