SEOUL: A transgender soldier who enlisted as a man and underwent a sex change last year will be discharged from South Korea's army, with the military saying Wednesday the soldier had violated regulations.
The case"corresponded to one of the reasons for being unable to continue service", the army said in a statement, without giving specifics.
