An SMRT staff member was caught on camera vaping outside Fajar LRT station while another was alleged to have left litter behind.shared a five-second video of a man in an SMRT uniform using an e-cigarette near the LRT station in Bukit Panjang on July 28 at 12.15pm.The use of e-vaporisers has been banned in Singapore since Feb 1, 2018. Those caught purchasing, using or having in their possession such products in Singapore are liable to a fine of up to $2,000.

The Stomper also shared photos of another SMRT staffer whom the Stomper alleged left a cigarette butt and a used disposable cup on the ground.In response to a Stomp query, Bukit Panjang LRT head Chan Wye Keong said:"We do not condone such behaviour."We will follow up with necessary actions.”
