Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong has called for students to develop qualities such as resilience and leadership instead of just focusing on academic achievements. By cultivating such qualities individually and as a nation, Singapore can keep on growing, making progress and creating a better future, he said.

Mr Lee was speaking at Ang Mo Kio Primary School in Teck Ghee, where he handed out Education Merit Awards to about 360 students.
