MOM_sg govsingapore Agents/ recruiters of foreign workers earn vr big commisison. Employers (hawker centres, wet markets, HDB councils) pay them salaries but almost half go to agents’ commission forever workers work here. Gov pls check agents income & require them to build dorm

It is better to take action now than none. Believed SGP government proactiveness and action taken to prevent further spread will be effective. Let fight the virus as a Singaporean, as a family and as a Nation.

dont worry la , their dorm spread wont go very far , still will be within their community . MOM and MOH easier to deal with that seriously , i am calmer than two days ago when we got some unlink cases .

Worker’s dormitories in Singapore.

BilldeBlasio NYGovCuomo Singapore is super hot humid&covid19 not abating there. Maybe hot soapy water pressure washed over everything will help. But summer could be bad because flecks of sweat flying all over the place. CGTNOfficial

Scary leh

siowwwwww!!!! very serious cases !😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Emplyers should look after their workers. Shorten the working hours so that they are not tired at the end of the day, to take care of their hygiene.

IsabelleLimCNA Trolls here stop enough of your lame comment!

IsabelleLimCNA Just stay safe and socially responsible. With the crowds mirroring in most stores on IKEA, Supermarkets complicates things. People are still being irresponsible. The government has done their part. Stop whining and be socially responsible! SGUnited

ffs

Do they use bidets in those dorms? Could bidets be spreading the virus too?

Kudos to the leadership of Ministry of Manpower? Isn't it common sense to tighten measures much earlier at the dormitories (huge congregation of people like religious places) for the vulnerable group who are helping contribute to Singapore? Simply disappointing! Pray for our Army

Yes pls, the living conditions are the contributing factor, defo must isolate, the next few days &/ wks r very critical 🙏🤞

🙏🤞Be prepared for the next few days,😭future cases are likely linked to workers' dormitories & those returning fr overseas

Not surprised. These workers mostly hangout together at selected places on their off days. So, if one infected, can easily spread to the rest of the community.

Will we see an Ikea cluster too? Idgi, why are people queueing up to go to Ikea? Wtf? Maybe a bubble tea cluster too since ppl can’t fking stay at home and have to queue for shit like this.

Can see lots of cases in Schools too ,how it was considered to be safest place earlier 😱

Plz guys be responsible ;(

Stay safe & be socially responsible everyone!

Wow I thought govsingapore would be doing much better

Mostly South Asian I believed!
