Singapore is pouring S$50 million in national grants into what is called precision oncology research for lymphoma and colorectal cancers. The funds are from the Health Ministry and they are given out through the National Medical Research Council Office and MOH Holdings.

CNA spoke to Dr Jason Chan, Consultant at the Division of Medical Oncology and Director of the Cancer Discovery Hub at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, and Associate Professor Tam Wai Leong, Deputy Executive Director of the Genome Institute of Singapore at A*STAR.
