Singapore GE2020 candidates do not need to be tested for Covid-19, says MOH singaporevotes

There is no need for political party candidates to be tested for Covid-19, said the Ministry of Health's director of medical services Kenneth Mak.

"These have been put forward already by the Elections Department, and they are designed to protect the health and safety of all members of the public, as well as those who are campaigning themselves. "It's not an issue of whether or not these are political parties carrying out their walkabouts, or whether they are other individuals," he said.
