Adapting to emerging challenges, such as the adoption of alternative fuels, is deemed crucial for the country's maritime sector.Teo Eng Dih, chief executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore , emphasised the need for the maritime services cluster to adapt to the industry's changing needs.

The event, hosted by the MPA, brought together over 200 global industry leaders to deliberate on the pivotal role of maritime services in spearheading digital and green transformations. Moreover, the country will also host the International Union of Marine Insurance annual conference from 15 to 18 September 2025, providing a global platform for marine insurers to discuss key sectoral issues.
