After the pilot declared a medical emergency, he diverted the Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft to Bangkok, where it landed at 3:45 pm on May 21 . At 5:05 on Wednesday morning , a relief flight with 143 passengers and crew members who could travel landed in Singapore, while 79 passengers and six crew members remained in Bangkok.
