The entertainment industry has lost two of the most-loved Hong Kong actresses just this month: “First Lady of Television” Lily Leung as well as Teresa Ha Ping.

Born in 1929, Lily starred in dozens of TV series, including Kindred Spirit and Heart of Greed. Also known by her nickname “Sister Lily”, she passed away peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by family after enduring illnesses.Liza Wang saddened by the deaths of two great actresses Teresa, also known as Apple Lo or Teresa Ha, passed away at the age of 81. News of her death was shared by her godson, Gordon Lam, after it was revealed that she was hospitalised for three weeks."While she was living in the nursing home, she had a stroke. Coupled with diabetes and high blood pressure, her health had deteriorated in recent years," he said.
