This people are the underprivileged. Instead of throwing them into jail, look at the roots of the problem

Yes, he broke the rules. And multiple times at that. However, i think we should also consider the situation where, these are people whom used to socialise in a coffee shop Everyday in person. They probably dont know much about zoom and IT.

A lot of people say that he’s deserving f this punishment. But just to kinda throw another point of view in the situation for the sake of friendly debate, i think it points out something very important. The older generation probably dont know of any other ways to socialise

Deserved it

Is it a crime,to break CB,

for this uncle right, charged also no use. someone needs to make him understand the situation

It is common, near my area, there are similar situations, especially near coffee shops, void decks, only that authority was there. Seeing some old folks, etc, they just wanted to meet friends for chatting, did not want to stay home.

Frontliners have been sacrificing their rest and family time during this period. What if THEY chose to put their needs and wants before others? Anyone care to think and comment of the consequences if that happens then?

There will be more harm to elder folks if these shut in persist. Leave home need reason Which dictator does one need to enquire? Dam these stupid emergency law need to have a limit.

What about the frontliners who have been working tirelessly round the clock, especially those working at hospitals? Some even have to sacrifice their rest days to support the manpower crunch to cope with this pandemic while the rest of us are task with one thing - Stay At Home.

Seriously! Do you really need to plaster his face all over the news? Is the fine necessary? I get it you want to make a point but don’t use a senior citizen as your bait! What about all those young lads hanging out on the bridge in Robertson Quay, the law not applicable to them?

Our garment is bankrupt of ideas and soon our money also. They don’t really care if you are juniors or seniors- they just impose one fine after another. So sad living in uncertain time now in Singapore.

Accused of leaving his flat withiut reasonable excuse, this is martial law or what, all Sporean r under house arrest?

Give chance la. You can't guarantee all mask wearer are properly wearing their mask also. 🙄🙄

He’s probably tired of social distancing. If I’m being honest, I want to applaud him even though I know it’s wrong. I guess I’m just fantasizing about the return to normalcy.
