Schiaparelli Couture Show: All eyes on Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat

e collection, designed by creative director Daniel Roseberry, was inspired by Dante’s Inferno and featured gowns with extremely realistic recreations of a snow leopard, a lion, and a wolf, based on the three beasts that appear in the 14th century poem “representing lust, pride and avarice respectively.”Jenner wore the same black velvet bustier dress featuring a life-size lion’s head to the event that model Irina Shayk wore down the runway.

Doja Cat, on the other hand, opted for an even more elaborate look for the runway show. The pop star chose Schiaparelli’s red silk faille bustier paired with a hand-knitted skirt featuring lacquered wooden beads.Doja Cat then covered her face, scalp, and arms with 30,000 Swarovski crystals applied by hand by famed makeup artist Pat McGrath. McGrath said of the look, “Schiaparelli’s collection is a beguiling blend of femininity and masculinity.

The result at the Schiaparelli show is a mesmerizing canvas of radiant, multi-dimensional, and luminous beauties. Evocative of sublime sculptures; a true feast for the eyes.” She added of bedazzling the singer, “Collaborating with the incomparably talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry was an absolute pleasure.

Kylie Jenner is known as a reality star, model, and a beauty entrepreneur, who rose to fame as a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family. While Doja Cat, on the other hand, is a rising pop star known for her electrifying performances and unique fashion sense. Both stars have a huge fan following and their presence at the Schiaparelli event added to the star power of the show.
