SINGAPORE: An SBS Transit bus driver and two passengers were taken to hospital on Friday after an accident involving a cement mixer at Aljunied Road.

“The impact caused the bus to swerve to its right, mount the divider kerb and hit a stationary van before coming to a stop,” she said. This screengrab of a YouTube video by SG Road Vigilante shows the damaged windscreen of the SBS Transit bus.

The cement truck beat red light. Obviously all the ppl commenting never read the news and just jump to conclusions. The green light was in favour of the bus. Tough punishments needed for these big lorry and trucks that speed and beat red light.

Thumb rule says SBS driver should have been careful but we must wait for complete investigation.

Why such happen?

Bus into mixer side. Looks bad for SBS. Hope driver & 2 passenger are OK. Everyone else be good & get over their fright.

Cement mixer truck driver speeding + SBS bus driver never check left before turning right…..

Need to review CCTV for concrete evidence of what happened.
