“Continue to perform, but making absurd remarks won’t improve things.”

Sarfaraz Khan has lately made headlines for two distinct reasons, namely the fact that he was passed over for the India TestMilind Rege, a former captain of Mumbai, believes Sarfaraz Khan’s role should be to perform and score runs rather than expose his frustrations in front of the people.

Sarfaraz spoke out frequently about his treatment of India. The 25-year-old said that he was disappointed that he had not yet received a call-up from India. He also talked about his interaction with BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma, who had promised to choose Sarfaraz for the Bangladesh tour last year.It can be devastating to be denied an India cap after scoring 928 runs in the 2019–20 season, 982 more the season after, and another 556 runs in six games.

Due to the presence of wicketkeeper Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, and maybe all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in India’s middle order, Sarfaraz will have to wait for his turn.
