MELBOURNE: Rugby Australia chief Raelene Castle says players can expect to face further pay cuts in the longer term as the game adjusts to tougher financial conditions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This is a conversation that's going to affect players at every sporting competition and RA will be no different.Advertisement If the shutdown drags into the second half of the year it could prove disastrous for RA, who have forecast a AUS$120 million hit to their finances if the entire season is wiped out.
