Following last month’s announcement that its deal with Garena will no longer continue, Riot Games has now confirmed the relaunch date of both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics on new Riot servers. The big move is set to happen on Jan 6, 2023.

Also, players in Southeast Asia who complete a set of in-game missions will receive all previously released champions from 2009 to 2021 for free, which is an excellent value proposition, to say the least. The publishing side of things will continue to be run from Singapore and Japan, while the partnerships with Taiwan Mobile and VNGGames to bring League and TFT to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Vietnam respectively remain.
