Repeat offender jailed 1 year for molesting 2 women at MRT stations.

A restaurant manager with previous convictions for molest committed a similar offence on an 18-year-old sales assistant on an escalator at an MRT station.

At the State Courts on Thursday , Ching, 26, was jailed for one year after he pleaded guilty to two molestation charges. At the station platform, she stared at the perpetrator but he walked away. She followed him to the ticket concourse and confronted him, but he denied touching her.On 3 November, Ching molested the university student while on the escalator to the train platform at Yew Tee MRT station.The victim did not dare to shout for help as she was worried that Ching might turn violent. She called the police shortly after.
