SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force has apologised after a photo emerged showing one of its officers posing “inappropriately” at the scene of a person’s death.

“Is there no integrity on how a police officer should behave, especially when he is on duty, attending to a case involving casualty?” she asked. “The Police are aware of posts circulating online showing a police officer posing next to a blue tent,” SPF said. “All police officers are expected to maintain professionalism in managing incidents. The Police will be taking internal action against the officer.”

The officer's response was to the gawker taking the picture.

Apologies to who... Not me, to the deceased at the funeral.

Thankfully SPF rejected me last time. Our police force is a joke. From corruption to uselessness. The razer guy murder case, once police handed over to CID, CID immediately found evidence. Police for nearly 20 years nothing. Must be busy making false report from victims.

Not to excuse the ‘action’ of the police officer, and with due respect to the family of the deceased, as members of the public, let us be sensitive and respectful, and not simply take pictures at the scene of someone who had just unfortunately passed away😔

SPF & his Parents should be shamed & blamed for his “upbringing”!!!!!!!

Clowns at work 👍

I don't find it 'inappropriate' at all. It was probably just a spontaneous reaction. She probably meant RIP. I hope we do not any how punish someone just because there is a 'complain'.

It’s just natural reaction…
