Shin Min Daily News reported yesterday that the 56-year-old is now a proud co-owner of a chicken rice stall.
"After thinking about it, I thought to give it a try," said Peter, who admitted to having a soft spot for the local hawker favourite.Besides this, he reasoned that chicken rice is also one of Singapore's most well-regarded and popular foods. Although it requires a lot of work, it's not as complicated as other dishes."I don't know how to cook, I only know how to eat," he told Shin Min.
As part of the stall's opening promotions from June 3 to June 9, it will be giving away 500 plates of chicken rice to seniors aged 65 years and older as well as those in the lower income groups who flash their Blue CHAS cards.
