What actually happened? The news only said 'careless driving' , it could mean many things or maybe the pedestrian was jay walking and walked into the blinds pot of the driver. I don't think any bus drivers are stupid enough to run someone over.

Straight away get arrested? No wonder some jobs cannot attract applicants

Should not ignore the human factor. In these Covid times the bus captain might be under increased stress from manpower, schedule or personal issues. The bus company should counsel such employees promptly

Careless, heartless.

一不小心,成千古恨!

In general, drivers attitude here in Singapore are actually really the worst. They don’t seem the understand that people walking on the road are the most vulnerable. Its so different from some European countries.

Lately the bus drivers are getting really aggressive in their driving..I hope something can be done to control such behavior!
