SINGAPORE — Hours after he posted about being placed in an isolation ward for observation when his temperature “shot up”, outgoing Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan has been diagnosed with dengue fever for the third time in his life.
The former Sembawang GRC Member of Parliament is currently warded at Singapore General Hospital. He lives in the Yio Chu Kang area, which is a hot zone for dengue fever. He had been preparing his office for his successor and looking forward to the ceremony to mark the restart of the Rapid Transit System Link project.
