It would be ridiculous to consider MP Nurul Izzah Anwar as the enemy within Malaysia’s ruling Pakatan Harapan coalition because she is, in reality, a rebel who is stirring the waters against a sense of lethargy that has gripped the new government.

While we will not dabble in the details, it is clear there is intense pressure on Mahathir to respect the agreed PAC lineup; this means that an opposition member should lead the Parliamentary watchdog.
