More employees of Night Owl Cinematics have spoken up about their alleged mistreatment under their boss, Sylvia Chan.

In interviews with MS News, NOC’s former lead executive producer Felicia said, “My teammates questioned their self-worth. I’ve stayed up so many nights with crying teammates, doubting their sanity, their purpose, wondering if they are being ‘over-sensitive’, are they actually being humiliated or is this just…normal? Whether she is right, whether they are useless.”

In the MS News article, people who had worked with Sylvia, including NOC talent Nicole and ex-employee Preston Yeo, said that in one incident, she not only hurled insults at employees, but had also tossed a water bottle that “ended up hitting one of the crew members”, when the group “was making too much noise”.

Furthermore, four years after leaving NOC, ex-talent Michelle claimed that she was still on medication and mood stabilisers, which she attributed to “the anxiety she developed while working at the company.”

Microsoft says it warned Bill Gates about flirting in 2008Microsoft executives in 2008 warned Bill Gates to stop sending flirtatious emails to a female employee but dropped the matter after he told them he would stop, the company revealed Monday. The Wall Street Journal was first to report that Brad Smith, then Microsoft's general counsel and now its president and vice chair, and another executive met with Gates after the company discovered inappropriate emails to a midlevel employee. The newspaper reported that Gates didn’t deny the exchanges, and members of the Microsoft board who were briefed on them declined to take further action because there wasn't any physical interaction between Gates and the employee.
