SINGAPORE - If you walk along Buffalo Road in Little India, you will notice a new statue of a man wearing a loose headdress confidently sitting on a bullock cart.

Buffalo Road and the area surrounding it were known for cattle trading in the 19th and 20th centuries. "We chose to feature the bullock cart at the heritage park as it is situated in front of a busy traffic junction with high pedestrian traffic," said a town council spokesman.
