But instead of exiting these communities, I chose the easy way out. In fact, this quiet revolution has been happening for a while.

While this may seem like a no-brainer in an age of flexible working hours and correspondence with people from all around the world, the truth is that many of us have been conditioned to respond to messages as quickly as possible, especially if they come from someone more senior, like a work superior. So, even something as simple as a disclaimer can indeed help to relieve stress on the recipient’s end.
