Researchers in Singapore are studying the health of the country's forests through a network of 60 plots in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. This initiative aims to track the vital signs of the forests and contribute to conservation efforts.

A national effort is underway in Singapore to monitor the health of the country's forests. Research ers are studying various aspects of forest health in a network of 60 plots within the Central Catchment Nature Reserve .

These plots represent different forest types and are part of a long-term forest ecological monitoring plot network launched by the National Parks Board in May 2022.
