SINGAPORE — The Ministry of National Development (MND) has asked the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council (AHTC) what remedial actions it plans to take after fresh findings from the court that Workers' Party chairperson Sylvia Lim and its former secretary-general Low Thia Khiang are liable for negligence to the town council

The Court of Appeal found recently that Workers' Party chairperson Sylvia Lim and former party secretary-general Low Thia Khiang are liable for negligence to Aljunied-Hougang Town Council

The Ministry of National Development has asked the town council to provide information on its remedial actions after these fresh findingsOnce the town council does so, MND will consider whether further regulatory action is needed
