Man rescued after falling into Havelock Road drain and was stuck for 30 minutes

SINGAPORE - Covers have been installed on a drain at Block 22 Havelock Road, a day after a man in his late 50s fell in and got stuck for 30 minutes before he was rescued.

A small group of onlookers from the neighbouring Beo Crescent Market can be seen watching the rescue in the video. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for assistance at about 4.50pm on Sunday, and the man was conscious when he was taken to the Singapore General Hospital. Checks by ST show that the drain, which is about 35cm wide and 70cm deep, can be difficult to climb out of once a person falls in.

The Archdiocese's statement was released on its website in response to media queries on r it can remain between a man and woman for catholics~ the rest of the country is not catholic, so don't try to dictate what the rest of us can or cannot do. imagine if Muslims wanted all of us to abstain from pork Enough of all these. We are a secular state, not a Catholic state. With all due respect, gays are not gay by choice and should not be discriminated on the policy front for the sole reason that they are unable to get legally married.
