The man immediately stepped off the vehicle when the officers alighted and walked away, said the Singapore Police Force.

New: You can now listen to articles.SINGAPORE: A team of auxiliary police officers was travelling along Stamford Road in the wee hours of Friday when they discovered a man clinging to the rear door of their moving armoured vehicle.According to the Singapore Police Force , the officers were loading cash cartridges into their vehicle along Queen Street at around 3am when a man, who appeared intoxicated, wanted to enter the vehicle.

"The officers alighted from the vehicle and the man immediately stepped down from the vehicle and walked away." The police were alerted to the incident at about 4.20am and the arrest was made within two hours along Stamford Road.The offence of drunkenness in public places causing annoyance carries a jail term of up to six months, a fine of up to S$1,000 , or both.
