SINGAPORE: A 26-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly stole S$700 in cash from a woman in Geylang.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man had approached the victim and her friend. He allegedly deceived the victim into conducting a check of her personal belongings before fleeing with her money. “Preliminary investigations revealed that the man is believed to be involved in another similar case of theft in Geylang,” said the police.
