MELBOURNE : Jiri Lehecka said he had the game to go to higher places after the unheralded Czech stunned Canadian sixth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime at the Australian Open on Sunday to reach the quarter-final of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career.

"But deep inside, me and my team, we believe I have the game and that I'm able to produce good tennis, which can take me to higher places ... to better rankings, fuller in the tournament. After an extended spell on the ATP Challenger circuit, the youngster broke into the top 100 last February and also reached the title clash at the Next Gen ATP Finals in November where he lost to American Brandon Nakashima.
