10 Sep – Hong Kong-born singer Jackson Wang has recently been announced as the new partner of Mario Ho's eSports team, Victory 5 .
As reported on HK01, the news was revealed at a press conference held in Shenzhen, in which the GOT7 member revealed that they were in talks about the collaboration for the past couple of years. "Although I don't play that many games and I am not very good at it, I do like playing them. After Mario shared more about eSports with me, I thought that it was a good opportunity. I hope I could contribute something to the world of eSports," he said.
On the other hand, Mario Ho, who is also the son of late tycoon Stanley Ho, stated that he decided to get Jackson in as a partner as it would be difficult for him to manage the business by himself. Jackson and Mario became best friends in 2017, after they met each other on the variety show,"King of Glory". Mario even made a cameo in Jackson's music video for"Different Game".
