After so much money had been spent, Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) got scrapped. Now, there are talks of making it happen again.

Dr Oh Ei Sun, a senior fellow at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, however, is optimistic, noting that there is goodwill as Malaysia had been" there is a huge demand for the HSR, as the Singapore-KL corridor is one of the most congested in the world, both by air and by road. So, the HSR will help alleviate this congestion and thereby facilitate more business dealings," he said.
