Australia coach Dave Rennie was left counting the cost of a physically punishing defeat by England on Saturday as a growing casualty list threatens to have a major impact on the Wallabies' efforts to win the nations' three-test series.
"It's a decider and you're playing for your country," Rennie said of the third test in Sydney on Saturday. The Wallabies went into the second test without suspended lock Darcy Swain as well as injured quartet Quade Cooper, Tom Banks, Andrew Kellaway and Jed Holloway, with the list of injured growing as the game played out at Lang Park.
Scott Sio was forced out of the game moments after coming off the bench with a shoulder issue and Cadeyrn Neville also left the field with suspected medial collateral ligament damage in his knee.
