NEW DELHI - The deaths of 20 Indian soldiers in clashes with Chinese troops on the Asian giants' border"will not be in vain," Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Wednesday .

China's said it does not want to see any more clashes on the border with India following Monday's violence. India's foreign ministry said there had been casualties on both sides, but China has not disclosed any casualties so far.
