Stomper: 'I managed to spot it and did not end up consuming the 'extra protein'.'

A woman was eating her sweet and sour sliced fish rice from a Clementi stall when she noticed something in her food that was not supposed to be there."On May 21 afternoon, I ordered food from Kimly Zi Char at Clementi Avenue 5 via Foodpanda for my lunch," recounted the Stomper."At first glance, I thought it was a piece of plastic or ikan bilis, which on second thought, I realised should not have appeared in this dish at all.

"I brought the issue up to Foodpanda’s customer support and they immediately gave me a refund for that dish. I also asked them to feedback to Kimly Zi Char about the outlet’s lapse in food hygiene."In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Food Agency said:"Food safety is a joint responsibility.
