the 35-year-old shared that she was raised by her mother, who really loved and doted on her. Her only flaw was that she really wanted to “get rich quickly”.
“I couldn’t handle it. Then I decided to call the cops to arrest my mother. That scene was very scary. You don’t really want to think about it.”According to the actress, her father had “left” the family when she was very young - though it’s unclear whether he walked out on them or passed away. However, through this, Lim learnt to be stronger. Recounting the long corridor she had to walk whenever she went to visit her mother, Lim said her grandmother always accompanied her before she died.
Right now, both mother and daughter are on okay terms, but they don’t talk to each other as much. Lim also said she has forgiven her mother as well. When asked if her mother blames her for what went down, Lim replied, “My mother is a more dramatic and sensitive person. I think she won’t blame me.”
