A man was caught on camera altering the angle of a closed circuit television camera before allegedly removing the gantry arm in Parklane Mall’s carpark to avoid parking fees.
The video started with the man already standing under the camera pole and redirecting the angle upwards.Little did he know there was another camera farther away watching his every move. He then walked over to the gantry arm and began pushing it down.On both occasions, a woman who accompanied the man tried stopping him and redirecting him back to the vehicle. He eventually listened and went back to the car.The video then showed a screenshot of multiple fines issued to the Honda Civic.
Many also noticed the man was drunk and, therefore, not fit to drive in the first place. Others highlighted that he went to great lengths just to avoid the parking fee.
