In was recently reported in Hong Kong that a 59-year-old guitar-teacher-slash-swimming-instructor named Li Ting Chuan was arrested for having sex with his girlfriend's 13-year-old sister., 61, in a singing competition back in 1983.In a singing competition organised on TVB variety show

39 years ago, Ting Chuan, who performed the song 'Promise', defeated Jacky, who sang Michael Kwan's 'Sooner Or Later A Couple', by a score of 44 to 38.He once said:"At least I made a mark once in my life."However, things have gone terribly wrong in Ting Chuan's life in the past few years. According to reports, Ting Chuan was introduced to his girlfriend's 13-year-old sister in 2010, and he was meant to teach her how to swim and play the guitar.When Ting Chuan was arrested in 2017, he denied the allegations but was still charged for molesting an underage person at that time.Ting Chuan professed that he developed feelings for the young girl despite their huge age gap, and said that they were, in fact, dating.

Ting Chuan, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, is currently awaiting his sentence which would be announced on Dec 14. He is hoping for a lighter sentence due to his medical condition. However, it's said that with his four charges, which include molesting and unlawful sexual intercourse, Ting Chuan is definitely going to face jail time.
