They are the first Indonesian band to play at the UK music festival.

Voice Of Baceprot's drummer Euis Siti Aisyah), lead singer and guitarist Firda Marsya Kurnia and bassist Widi Rahmawati. All-female hijabi heavy metal group Voice Of Baceprot is set to be the first Indonesian band to play at the iconic Glastonbury Festival, which takes place at Worthy Farm in the county of Somerset, England. They will perform on Jun 28.

“Never would have thought we could play at a stage like Glastonbury. It still feels like a dream too high for us to achieve," Siti, or Sitti as she prefers to be known, told Singapore publication The Straits Times . Glastonbury will be VOB’s biggest gig yet, and they told ST that they will perform a mix of old and new songs.

Just last year, they released their debut album Retas. They performed in several cities in the United States of America in 2023 and have also performed at Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival in 2022.
