It is noted that Hacken previously won mainland audiences through his participation in "Singer 2016" and "King of Mask Singer".Rumour has it that Hacken may not be able to appear at the finals of his TVB reality show in person next month, and will instead speak to the contestants via video. This is due to the fact that the singer will have to travel to the north early to prepare for the other show, seeing that he will need to undergo a 21-day quarantine.
It is noted that Jay Chou and A-Mei were originally slated to mentor singers this year as well, but weren't able to do so due to the pandemic situation in Taiwan.
